Beth Dean is the owner and founder of Studio 88, which opened in 2006. She holds a Bachelors of Music (B.M.) in Music Performance from Eastern Kentucky University, along with her teaching certification. Beth has extensive experience both in classroom teaching and in private piano and vocal instruction. She believes in the importance of students’ exposure to multiple musical styles, including but not limited to classical, rock, pop, jazz, contemporary Christian, and choral music. Beth maintains a fun, upbeat learning environment while holding her students to high standards. She equips students to leave the studio upon graduation prepared to perform in any situation. She puts heavy emphasis on the importance of sight-reading. Beth believes in creating well-rounded musicians of high-level skill and technique. In Beth’s studio you will find transparency and professionalism. With glass windows in each studio room, parents are free to observe as they relax in the studio lobby. With semiannual recitals, along with various other performance opportunities throughout the year, students are taught how to deal with performance anxiety and etiquette early in their music education. During the final performance of her four night engagement, the audience was so enchanted by Beth, Prince Faisal invited her to join them for dinner.

-In 2002, Beth recorded her original album “GROW,” showcasing a variety of styles.
-Beth regularly plays and sings for weddings, corporate events, restaurants, and other gigs. She enjoys crafting music to fit the style and mood of each individual event.
