Abigail J. Miller, of Lexington, KY, is a teaching artist in drawing, painting, sculpture, and creative writing. Her favorite media include watercolors, acrylics, oils, pastels, colored pencils, paper mache, natural and recycled materials, and copic markers. She also enjoys creating art digitally with Photoshop and Procreate.
After graduating from Lafayette High School's SCAPA Creative Writing program in 2014, Abigail pursued her B.A. in Fine Arts at Haverford College in Pennsylvania. Directly after graduating college in 2019, she earned a fellowship with ArtistYear, an AmeriCorps program that deploys teaching artists to low-income public schools across Philadelphia to increase equity in arts education. In 2020, she returned to Kentucky and became a member of the Kentucky Arts Council’s Teaching Artist Directory.
